My first interesting purchase of 2009 will most certainly make it to my top 10 at the end of the year.

Truffaut's The Bride Wore Black (1968)

It's funny how our interest in posters is so differents, your posters are fantastic and they look like new, I just collect posters from 80's to now, because in belgium older posters are in a bad shape, sellers never keep safe their posters, and they're in a terrible state.

my latest additions are less worthing or less beautiful than some pieces you get, but it's difficult to get anything from cinema or video store now

It doesn't matter what you collect as long as it makes you happy. Whether it's a Dark Knight poster or a 1933 King Kong poster, there is no bad collections.

I'm not really sure I understand the limitations of living in Belgium. I have never acquired anything from local theaters or video stores. I don't like to ask for favors. I'd say that 99% of my collection was purchased on Ebay (aside from one trustworthy dealer I get great pieces from), and that's international. Yes, I even believe they deliver in Belgium. :)

Isn't it great going into a theater and checking out the new posters and other stuff? It's become a ritual when I go with my teenagers.

Very happy to get this one in, as I have lost the bidding for one a couple of times now.

The seller actually knew what they were doing when they sent it, so it arrived in perfect condition, which doesn't seem to happen too often these days. Along with it I got the other 6 Batman Begins posters. Very nice campaign they had for this movie, if I do say so myself.
Always looking for Saw material. Always feel free to message me if you run across anything or have something to sell. Applies to posters and anything else!

Thats what Im working on !! Posted Image Ive gotten to where Im like you. I love to look for them, buy them, see that I have that poster, then it gets put up .. Originally when I started collecting I had planned on having each piece framed and rotate them out .. Boy was I naive !! LOL .. That or maybe subconsciously I had planned on buying a museum with lots of wall space .. But now that I have them online (even if its just photobucket) I get to look at the posters when ever I want .. Its nice really .. Another motivation for me to do this is consolidation .. I have some tubes with just one poster in it .. I ordered it got it in and would never even open the package .. I was just happy that I had it Posted Image

Speaking of tubes .. Where does one purchase larger tubes for storage purposes ??? I got a poster from Alamo and mondo sent the single poster in this 4" tube (thats now holding my ~40 quads) If I could get a couple of those I could have my entire collection in 4-5 tubes instead of 20 or so..
