The headine description says this: "The Nightmare Before Christmas Original Movie Poster - Style A"

It's only in the smaller print that it contradicts this header, describing it differently as "an original commercial print". IMHO this ad is very deceptive.

I get what your saying .. BUt then its not like buying a house where you have to have full disclosure .. I mean Bruce and Dave take part in the less is more theory .. Like with SS posters .. You will not find it stated in any of their auctions that a poster is SS .. They will tell you if its DS though .. To me that lack of information when a poster is SS is deceptive .. If someone new doesnt know theres a SS version they may assume it is DS .. Its just the nature of the beast At least this seller put in the description what the poster really was .. a Commercial Print ..

Now Im just playing devils advocate here so dont think Im throwing dirt in your face for bringing this up .. their information IS misleading .. Just goes to show you should read all available info before making a purchase..

Ohh hand I went and re-read the page .. and I dont like this blatant lie ..

This movie art item is an authentic original piece - the same item that is used in actual movie theaters. Original movie art items are valued by collectors worldwide and can increase in value over time.




Then again .. you have to wonder what collector would trust a site titled .. all movie replicas

Actually general  people cant evaluate the value of a painting or poster or portrait . They don't know the parameter. To them a photograph is better than a painting because the look bright and real. They have no time to find the meaning of a picture or what the artist wanted to say though his work.

ddilts399 (Movie Posters 4 U) - I've received probably half a dozen from him, all 27x40 originals, all in superb condition.  Definitely my favorite seller...so far

movies-inc - I've bought 3 27x40 originals and all were terrific condition.

dragonbirdlw - 2 originals, great shape

movieposterzone - I bought an original 27x40 d/s of The Departed.  Arrived in great condition.  Looks legit to me...I hope so.  I paid a little extra for this one.

I really hope you all agree that the above sellers are honest and sell legit originals.

Can anyone confirm if "mgposter" out of Las Vegas, NV is a good seller?  He has a few posters I'm eying one bay and wanted to check here first before bidding/buying.  thanks

Everything I have seen from them have been reprints so watch out. I think MG is just another name for Movie Goods to be honest with you. The fact that they are both based out of Vegas only helps to confirm that. Hope this helps.

whats up all......I wanted to add something regarding all the uproar in earliear posts about Moviegoods and reprint posters.......It seems some people out there want to have a SOLID reprint to look at the artwork of a desired Film....which makes total sense,but I would like to say this here and now........Moviegoods is NOT the way to go......couple a years back I ordered 3 reprints(at 30.00 each mind you)so I could enjoy admiring some "expensive" favorites.....well.......when my treats had arrived I was dissapointed to say the least,as these were printed on a heavier almost off-gloss stock,but the kicker was the QUALITY man.......It was like I snapped a picture of a poster hanging on my wall...TERRIBLE....and of course 90.00 bucks down the drain for terrible quality reprints........
     Anyway theres a meaning behind all this because you should be able to find a QUALITY REPRINT for a good price and some such places DO exist.....ones called MoviePostersUSA,and I know this because I purchased 2 reprints from them as well:
  They were Halloween and Star Wars respectfully,and two of my most fave images AND for 11.99 each......well....when they arrived I was happy to unwrap 2 fine Re-Prints on One-Sheet Quality paper and images that rival the original and of course...the kicker......for dirt cheap!......If anyone knows of any other outlets BESIDES Moviegoods to get Quality Reprints im sure they're are people looking for that!
     Sure they have alot of "basic poster"items but im sure you can find other places out there like this that sell simple reprints for cheap!!
