Anyone dealt with W Hanke from Germany , he claims he didn't get money I transfered....must be some fault with his bank cuz I'm absolutely sure I transfered to him (why is his name in my net bank if a transfer never occurred ??)

I have had good experiences and bad experiences on ebay.  I rarely look on ebay since Bruce left.  I'm sure I miss some good items by not looking on ebay but the selection on offer via emovieposter is second to none. Great experiences with Piotr at artofposter.com and polishposter.com. Good experiences with dominquebesson, Good expeiences with karlheinz at postertreasures.

I would like to warn everyone about Roy Sims formerly of Vertigo Galleries in London and now in Qld Australia selling mainly on eBay as The Movies Ink Store and The Audrey Hepburn Store. Business name movies-ink. He has been a dealer for many years and his values were always questionable. He ran from London I believe to escape a 3/4 million tax and bank debt! He took posters on consignment, sold and ran to oz with the money leaving people with nothing. Now he is doing the same in Australia. He has stolen posters off me, I've contacted him for my money and I was warned to back off - he appears unaccountable to this. The vast majority of the signatures he sells are questionable as to their originality - I know RR have refused them before deeming them fake, as have reputable dealers in the UK. He has no scruples. Only the unaware in the public will know no different. Please beware and don't get burnt by this greedy man who seems to think being in Australia means he is safe from everyone and anyone.

I don't think I've never had a bad experience on eBay.  Once in a blue moon an item (a film, not a poster) was not up to the description and the seller either took it back or gave a very satisfactory price reduction.

As for poster sellers, I've had great dealings with Ron Borst, Rick and Melissa Ryan, Heritage and Todd Feiertag.  Also WELN and LO-HAZE.  And I've gotten some great pressbooks from BEADYEYES.  And, of course, Bruce Hershenson!
