About Me

Predominantly interested in independent European posters, very much biased towards hand-made pre-digital artwork (before software took over the graphics industry in the 80s/90s). I collect almost always for the art and design, sometimes for the film itself or the director, but rarely for the actors, and never for the value. I have been collecting on and off for just over 300 posters (15 years), alternating between periods of passive inactivity and insatiable fanaticism! I am a long standing graphic designer and occasional art publisher, currently studying paper restoration and conservation in aid of my own poster collection, and may one day offer backing/restoring services to other collectors. I hope to find some genuinely passionate, hopeless romantics here…
